Hi , I have just gotten my new s6 , since my previous had some issues . What I am wondering is next..
When I did a factory wipe and reset, while my phone was turning on , it said something in German, and downloaded or installed bunch of German apps...
Why did this happen , and how do I remove this completely ? I don't want to remove them one by one each time I reset my phone... thanks

I have a Samsung Note 5 (this is a refurbished one that I got after my other screen cracked) and I'm noticing something weird that I never had before.

Whenever I play music/videos from YouTube and other random places, the volume starts low and then BOOM, it's at the volume I set it to be at. On my music apps, this doesn't happen though. Has anyone else had this issue? Maybe it's within some of these apps and not my phone?

Also, my location likes to randomly turn itself on, or go from power saving mode to high accuracy mode for no reason. I'll just look down and notice the location icon in my notification bar.

I lost my note 5, I was trying to locate it with the locator app. which was not able to find it. Now I want to know how to erase all my info off of the lost phone.

I typically use the androidcentral app on my phone, but wanted to access the forums on my laptop today. When I go to sign-in, it does not recognize my email (send user name) and does not recognize my user name (forgot my password).
Not sure what to do to get in. I just posted a new thread via my phone so I know I have an account and I know my user name.

Just bought a new Nexus 5x and upon opening the Android Wear app it tells me my Google app needs updating, the Google app page on the play store says that "Your device isnt compatible with this version"...

I have done some searching and I see a lot of people trying to go from CDMA to GSM but not one source really covers whether or not the full functionality of the Sprint Note 4 would transfer over to Verizon with an already activated Micro-sim? Activated sim comes from a Verizon Galaxy S4 i545 if that makes any difference.

I have the opportunity to get a free Sprint Note 4 which is "super broken" from a buddy....probably needs a new digitizer and boom it'll boot up I'm guessing. Really would appreciate the upgrade as my S4 is aging quicker than my grandparents and certainly running slower than my grandparents.

Any constructive comments are appreciated. Thank you kindly.

YAY! Finally a classic version with a speakerphone! (and 3G/4G capability on basically ANY carrier ... if you're into that)

No mention on how it'll affect the size but I'm glad they're finally making this version!

Every time a new Samsung watch is released I get excited but yet I'm still bothered and torn because while I feel the new UI and rotating bezel or AWESOME, I know there are lots of little things that aren't yet fine tuned in these watches. Like GPS on the 3G Sport version isn't that great in my experience (or at the very least it's inconsistent) and sucks battery like crazy. It's almost like a spec that's just "there" because it'll help sell, not because it's implemented well. And oh how I just wish these watches had Google Now instead of SVoice. (sigh) Such a killer watch but you don't know what you're missing until you see it firsthand. I think the average user with a watch like this ends up giving up on SVoice and says "meh, I don't need voice integration that much". That may be true, but like I said, you don't know what you're missing until you see how it "CAN" be done on other watches:

Anyway, I'm really glad the classic is getting a speakerphone. It's stupid that it didn't come standard on the regular classic since it's on most of their old versions but better late than never. Hopefully they can keep it slim still.

I bought a new Galaxy Tab S2 8" to replace my Tab4 7". While the screen and aspect ratio is better, I'm finding that I liked KitKat a lot more as an OS. The WiFi in Lollipop isn't nearly as good. Using the two tablets in the exact same place, KitKat got 4/4 bars while Lollipop only gets 3/4. Even at 3/4 bars connecting is spotty at best. Also, those infernal notifications about "optimizing" my apps. I've gone as far as turning the optimizing off to get rid of the constant reminder that it's optimizing and guess what... even off I get notifications that it's optimizing. What the hell is that about? I feel like KitKat was XP, fast, solid and reliable and Lollipop is like Vista... a bold new look to hide the fact that everything is worse. Unfortunately I sold my Tab4, so is there a way to put KitKat on my S2 until I can see if Marshmallow makes things right?

I want an easy to carry, portable device for photos and video; like a smartphone. I don't want to pay for phone service though. I just want the camera.

Can I buy a phone just for the camera? Is that a good idea? Perhaps I could buy a used phone?

I've searched high and low, plenty of info on duplicate contacts but this has a twist. I use gmail for contacts and they are all merged and clean. The issue is that on my phone when I pull up a contact and hit edit, I see a single entry for Google but multiple entries for phone cloud (white phone icon)as well as a single entry for cars in cloud (red cloud icon).
No option to delete all these phone cloud entries. I tried changing one of those to Google. I then had 2 google entries. I merged those 2 which was fine, back to 1 google entry. However it created an addtional phone cloud entry.
Why is this happening, more importantly how can I clean this up?
I appreciate one or more of you geniuses responses.
